Emetine-Sulphanilamide Retention Enemas for the Treatment of Amœbic Dysentery

چکیده

Sir,?With reference to my paper 'Treatment of Amoebic Dysentery with E.B.I. Retention Enemas published in the Indian Medical Gazette of August 1947, I should like to add that in the meantime I have treated a number of additional cases -without the addition of bismuth-iodide to the retention enemas. The results have been as good as those obtained with the enemas not containing bismuth-iodide. Therefore, the addition of bismuth-iodide seems to be unnecessary. The revised formula for the retention enemas is :?
